BEKOMAT 12, 13, 14 & 16 Condensate Drains – Zero Air Loss Electronic Drain Valves

The BEKOMAT® 12, 13, 14, and 16 series offer industry-leading solutions for condensate management in compressed air systems. Using intelligent electronic level control, they ensure reliable, zero-loss condensate discharge — saving energy and supporting system reliability across a wide range of pressures and capacities.

Condensate drain without pressure loss

If a float drain leaks, then high costs arise as a result of leaks. Time-controlled solenoid valves also cause compressed air losses. During the valve opening, expensively generated compressed unused compressed air escapes into the environment. In contrast a level-controlled condensate drain guarantees discharge without any compressed air loss i.e. also energy loss. This not only saves energy and costs, but also CO2 emissions.

Applications

  • Reciprocating and screw compressors
  • Refrigeration and membrane dryers
  • Inline compressed air filters
  • High-pressure installations up to 63 bar (model dependent)

The BEKOMAT Range Covers a Variety of Systems:

  • BEKOMAT 12: For compressors up to 8 m³/min and dryers up to 16 m³/min
  • BEKOMAT 13: For systems up to 35 m³/min
  • BEKOMAT 14: Up to 150 m³/min for large-scale industrial use
  • BEKOMAT 16: High-capacity units up to 1700 m³/min
  • See our full condensate management range here.

How Does the BEKOMAT Zero Air Loss Condensate Drains Work?

The BEKOMAT is an electronically level-controlled condensate drain used for draining off condensate in compressed air systems. The condensate formed is collected in the BEKOMAT and the filling level is monitored by an integrated capacitive sensor. When the defined filling level is reached, the condensate is discharged via a pilot-controlled solenoid valve. Only the condensate is automatically discharged without losing valuable compressed air.

FAQ

What makes BEKOMAT different from mechanical drains?
BEKOMAT uses electronic level sensing to avoid air loss, saving energy and maintenance costs.

Which model do I need?
The model depends on your compressor capacity, system pressure, and condensate type. Contact us for help.

Does it work with oil-free compressors?
Yes. Hard-coated models are designed for oil-free and aggressive condensates.
