What's Included in a BEKOMAT Maintenance Kit
Each BEKOMAT maintenance kit bundles the components exposed to condensate during normal operation:

Choosing the Right Kit for Your BEKOMAT Variant
This range has more variants per model than any other BEKOMAT family, so getting the designation right matters before ordering:
- LA vs. LALP vs. LP: LA variants are for systems with idle-load phases (operating pressure can drop toward 0–1.2 bar); LALP is a low-pressure variant of the same idle-load concept (down to 0.4 bar); LP is a low-pressure-only variant without idle-load logic.
- PN25 / PN63: high-pressure-rated variants (up to 25 or 63 bar) in stainless steel, using a different kit to the standard LA/LALP/LP range.
- VACU: specialised for vacuum and negative-pressure systems (0.1–1.8 bar absolute) — BEKOMAT 03 VACU/06 VACU and 15 VACU/16 VACU each use their own kit, distinct from the standard-pressure range.
- EX (ATEX): explosion-proof certified variants for hazardous/explosive atmospheres. EX variants always use a different kit to their non-EX equivalent, even where the base model and pressure range match.

When to Replace Your BEKOMAT Service Unit
BEKOMAT drains include a built-in service indicator that alerts you before the maintenance kit needs replacing. As a general guide:
- Standard duty (oil-contaminated condensate): service typically every 12 months, sooner in high-load systems
- Oil-free/aggressive condensate variants: inspect according to the service indicator, as aggressive condensate accelerates wear
- ATEX-certified units: servicing should follow your site’s hazardous-area maintenance procedures in addition to the standard service indicator — always isolate and de-energise per your ATEX zone requirements before any service work
- VACU variants: inspect according to the service indicator; sustained vacuum operation can affect the pilot valve differently to standard-pressure operation, so don’t assume a fault is electronic before checking the wearing parts

- Disconnect the condensate inlet/discharge fittings
- Remove the worn wearing-parts assembly per the model’s service instructions
